Lets Celebrate Ziggi’s Grand Opening
The coffee shop franchise, Ziggi’s Coffee, is scheduled to open April 21 at 7298 Lagae Road, near Castle Pines Parkway.
“We are excited to welcome the first of its multiple coffeehouse locations south of Interstate 70 here in Castle Pines,” said Castle Pines Mayor Tera Radloff. “During times of economic uncertainty, their decision to move forward speaks volumes of their trust in our supportive community.”
“We have a full staff and are eager to open the drive-thru portion to help our staff and our community,” said Michelle Wiley, co-owner of the Ziggi’s Coffee franchise in Castle Pines. “Seventy percent of our employees are residents of Castle Pines.”
The team will begin with 12 employees and expect to hire additional employees in the next month.
Michelle and Matthew Wiley, co-owners and residents of Castle Pines, began renovating the retail location, formerly leased by Dazbog, in January. During the past several months, they overcame construction hurdles that delayed the project’s opening day and are now ready to open the drive-thru April 21 at 5 a.m. The seating area will open once state health officials determine it is safe for people to gather in public spaces.
The two are excited to be cleared as an essential business and approved to open the drive-thru during the statewide Stay At Home Order, issued by Governor Jared Polis March 25 and set to expire April 26. Now, more than ever, the Wiley’s are determined to open and serve their community.
“As many of us in the community are aware, there are people that are struggling financially during this difficult time and my goal is to fight for them and their livelihood,” said Michelle. “We are all struggling in different ways during this transition and I truly hope to help the community of Castle Pines with the resources I have.”
Ziggi’s is a Colorado based company founded in 2004 with 21 locations nationwide. The Castle Pines’ franchise location will offer gluten free items, a menu for kids, vegan breakfast options and a variety of pastries and smoothie selections. Visit their online menu to order for pickup.
