Deborah has lived in Colorado and Castle Pines since 2015, when her family relocated due to a job transfer. She and her family love Castle Pines for the close-knit neighborhoods and proximity to open space and trails.
Deborah has always enjoyed serving her community, and upon relocating, she began volunteering for Douglas County elections, later adding service on her homeowners’ association board and as a member of the City of Castle Pines’ Planning & Zoning Commission/Board of Adjustment. She is excited to amplify her service to the City of Castle Pines by moving from Planning & Zoning Commission to City Council.
Deborah believes that government should be open and available to the public. To that end, she welcomes information and viewpoints from all stakeholders on issues that are important to residents. She looks forward to being a part of a City Council team that is dedicated to making smart, informed decisions that will enhance the City as it grows and evolves.
