March 2020: Mayor’s Message

March 17, 2020 at 3:46 pm

The outbreak of COVID-19 has created a significant impact on our community and specifically our small businesses. City Council and our staff are continuing to work with Tri-County Health to stay informed and help keep our community safe during this rapidly developing situation. I have issued a Declaration of emergency that will assist in allowing our local businesses to access State and Federal relief funds.

We have closed our offices to public access, but all City services are open and will continue. Staff are available via phone or email. You can access services through staging.castlepinesco.gov or click here to visit our staff directory to learn who can best serve your needs or answer your questions via email.

In addition, we are taking extra measures to accommodate social distancing recommendations and will implement closures, cancellations, and look for opportunities to reschedule our events.

  • 2020 State of the City
  • Egg Scramble
  • Court session
  • Castle Pines Library (Douglas County Library will evaluate closure weekly)
  • All City of Castle Pines public meetings through April 28.

Business may not be as usual; however, our support and priority to you remains the same.  I encourage you to continue to visit our website as we monitor health and safety recommendations.

Stay Healthy,
Tera Radloff
