On April 27, crews began sweeping your streets.
The 2019-2020 snow season was dry and wet. It hit hard with twice the average snowfall. The City is now left to clean up what snow operations have left behind. The Cul-de-sacs were hit hard and residents contacted City staff for assistance in removing the large piles of sand and gravel. Special sweeping crews were deployed to clean narrow and hard-to-clean residential roads and are scheduled to complete this work on May 8.
Beginning May 11, street sweeping crews will be working to clear both the Priority 1 (arterial) and Priority 2 (collector) roadways:
Priority 1 (arterial, yellow) Roads: Standard sweeping operations on streets that provide critical connections through the community such as Castle Pines Parkway, Monarch Boulevard, Lagae Road will take about one week to complete.
Priority 2 (collector, purple) Roads: Standard sweeping operations on streets that provide connections through the community such as Daniels Gate Rd, Griggs Rd, Hidden Pointe Rd, Buffalo Trail, Forrest Park Dr, Oxford Dr, Yorkshire Dr. will take about one week to complete.
