2020 is off to a great start; clearly, our momentum has not slowed! As we continue to evolve, your City government is constantly looking for ways to ensure our community stays cohesive. As such, we believe homeowners can realize efficiencies and cost savings and improve neighborhood and public services for Castle Pines residents by supporting the dissolution of the Master Association.
The Master Association was created prior to the City incorporating to provide for the maintenance, preservation, and control of common areas and real property, and to promote the health, safety and welfare of owners and residents. The City of Castle Pines has grown beyond the services and boundaries of the Master Association due to our incorporation and the significant expansion of our community. This evolution creates an opportunity to simplify governance. Many of the activities and services previously provided by the Master Association can be managed more effectively by the local homeowner's associations, the City of Castle Pines or other partners. Dissolution of the Master Association would also remove unnecessary homeowner costs such as the ownership and real estate transfer fees, and would eliminate any annual membership dues.
As community leaders, we take a comprehensive approach to creating and encouraging a sense of community while constantly looking for ways to be more efficient with your tax dollars. This is an exciting time in Castle Pines, and I look forward to continuing to work together to build the community we envision.
Warm Regards,
