Join the fun-from a distance.
Between April 4 to April 12, The City of Castle Pines is hosting an Egg Scramble while continuing to practice social distancing in our community.
We have created four egg designs for your children to download, print, color, cut and post on the front windows of your home. One of the eggs is intentionally blank to encourage your child(s) imagination to go wild.
Here is how this works:
- Between April 4 and April 14, while you are taking your children for a walk in the neighborhood, and keeping six feet of distance from those on the same path as you, hunt for the Castle Pines egg designs displayed on the windows of your neighbors' homes
- Keep six feet of distance from those on the same path as you
- Hunt for the Castle Pines egg designs displayed on the windows of your neighbors
- From a distance, take pictures of all the eggs you find
- Remember to practice social distancing while hunting
- Post and tag the pictures to the City of Castle Pines Facebook page (@castlepinesco)
- For those who do not have a Facebook account, write the child's name on the design and email your pictures to: information@staging.castlepinesco.gov
- On April 14, the Mayor of Castle Pines will randomly select five winners
- Each winner and their eggs will be featured in the May edition of The Castle Pines Connection and receive a $200 gift card from the City of Castle Pines
- The best egg design will receive a $50 gift card to Boondocks from The Castle Pines Connection.
We look forward to seeing your posts on the City of Castle Pines’ Facebook!
Stay safe, stay six feet a part and keep hunting!
