Free City Advertising Opportunities
Community events in Castle Pines may qualify for promotion assistance from the City. If an event meets certain guidelines, it may qualify for a listing on the City website via the events calendar or in the City's community e-newsletter.
Guidelines for Submitting an Event for City Promotion
The City considers a qualifying event to be a carefully planned gathering that is open to the general public, be entertainment based and generally fall under the following categories:
- Dance
- Special events and festivals
- Film & video
- Free events
- History & heritage
- Kids & family
- Museums
- Music
- Literature & poetry
- Science & nature
- Sports
- Theater
- Visual arts
Events must be held in Castle Pines or organized by a Castle Pines based business or attraction.
Events that are invitation only are generally not included.
Posting Policy
The City has the exclusive right to share and control content on it's online community events calendar as well as in the e-newsletters. The Communications department is responsible for determining eligibility for and posting events and reserves the right to refuse posting of any event. Approved events will be posted within two weeks. To ensure your event is posted in advance, please submit your event once all details are completed. It is your responsibility to verify the details of the event once it is posted (if approved) before the time of the event. Last minute changes may not be accommodated.
