2022 Adopted Budget

2022 Budget Process

City staff crafted the proposed budget to ensure that the excellent service delivery our community has come to expect under this City Council’s policy direction is not only maintained but is enhanced in service of City Council’s goals and priorities for 2022 and beyond.

Earlier this year, during their annual retreat, Council reaffirmed its goals and to provide greater policy direction to staff. In order to implement the City Council’s vision for the City, they established three fundamental concentration areas to focus on for the upcoming years: Infrastructure Investment, Economic Development, and Creating a Sense of Place. These three concentration areas and the strategic priorities identified within those areas guided City staff as they drafted the proposed budget.

On October 26, City Council discussed the proposed budget and on December 14, Council approved adoption of the proposed budget.
