ADA Improvements Made to School Garden at Buffalo Ridge Elementary School

City staff submitted a grant application to LiveWell Colorado for healthy lifestyle activities and was awarded $5,000 to use towards making ADA-accessible improvements to the school garden at Buffalo Ridge Elementary School in Castle Pines! The project is now complete with new crusher-fine paths, replacing the previously inaccessible ground between garden beds. Students of all abilities now have an opportunity to take care of their vegetables while learning important lessons about stewardship and nutrition.
